Crochet Pattern: Simple but Cute Triangle Motif

Written in American crochet terms.


ch: chain
slst: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sk: skip
sp: space








Start with magic circle or
ch 4, slst to form ring, ch 1.

round 1 - sc in loop (ch 3, sc in loop) 8 times, ch 1, hdc in 1st sc. ( nine 3 chain spaces)

round 2 - ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 3, sc in next 3ch sp) 8 times, ch 1, hdc in first sc of round. (nine 3 ch spaces)

round 3 - ch 1, sc in sp,  *ch 2, sc in next sp, ch 1, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in next sp, ch 1* sc in next sp, repeat **,  sc in next sp, repeat **, slst into first sc of round.

round 4 - c h1, sc in same sc, *ch 2, sc in next sc, ch 3, (3dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner space, ch 2,* sc in next sc, repeat ** sc in next sc, repeat **, slst in first sc of round.

round 5 - slst into first 2 ch sp, ch 1, *(sc, ch 2, sc) in 2 ch sp, ch 3, sk 1 dc (sc, ch 2, sc) in next dc, ch 2, (sc, ch 4, sc) in corner sp, ch 2, sk 1 dc, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next dc, ch 3,skip dc and sc*, repeat ** two more times, sl st into starting sc.
